What is SomaVeda® Thai Yoga Therapy?
SomaVeda® Thai Yoga is a system of Traditional and Indigenous Traditional Medicine. It incorporates elements of mindfulness, gentle rocking, deep stretching, and rhythmic compression to create a singular healing experience. SomaVeda® uses the whole body to heal the whole person by promoting a harmonious state of well being. Founded by Dr. Anthony B. James, the system is comprised of several core practices, including Indigenous-Traditional Thai Yoga, Puja (Sacred Prayers, Mantra), EFT-BET Bio Tapping (Mental / Emotional Counseling). Thai Yoga balances the energy within ourselves by combining yoga-informed stretching, palm and thumb pressure, traction and decompression in a rhythmic pattern.
Through compassion, love, joy and equanimity, Arielle uses Thai Yoga to guide the body back to its true self. Arielle is a certified group exercise instructor through Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), a 200 Hour Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance and has her SomaVeda® Thai Yoga Therapy Level 2 Student Practitioner Certification.
